If you need a spray foam company, I found one who goes way beyond most to make the job right!!!! Another awesome LOCAL company, Jerimy at Sprayfoam Genie made a special trip out tonight to prepare us for the walk-in coolers that will be installed this week! We are Very impressed with the attention to detail!

It’s a BEAUTIFUL day in early February and we are right on schedule with Big A’s build process!!!!!! As promised, the final renderings to reveal Big A’s concept!

We will answer some of the questions everyone has asked lately:

Q: Will Big A’s have breakfast???

A: YES, Big A’s plans to have a breakfast menu!!!

Q: What is going to be on Big A’s menu?

A: We ain’t telling YET! 🤭 BUT, you can bet Chicken fried steaks, Burgers, and Pizza is a given!

Q: Live music?

A: Of course! An acoustical indoor stage and most likely a live concert outdoor stage venue!

Q: Is that a drive thru?

A: Kinda! Breakfast customers will be able to order at the window OR call in (and possibly online)!

For lunch and dinner, call in’s or POSSIBLY online orders will be available to be PICKED UP at the drive-thru window on those days pajamas and house shoes are the attire, or your family just spent 4 hours at the ballfields. Now Axtell and surrounding towns can pick up dinner without going into Waco or even having to get out of the car! Restaurant quality with fast food concept!

Every idea Laura and I add to our Big A’s design is inspired by our favorite memories and fun we had through our 20 years of marriage. A lot of the ideas absolutely have to do with our 5 kids and making Big A’s a family friendly restaurant and venue. These swings are inspired by a fantastic little island in Mexico called Isla Mujeres we frequent when life gets overwhelming, just as we hope our friends frequent Big A’s for all the same reasons!!

Hello everyone and Happy New Years Eve! We are entering 2026 and can officially announce Big A’s WILL OPEN IN 2026!!!! 🎉🥳👏🎊🙌🍾🍻

Estimated opening Summer 26.

The real question is what will it look like?! Here is our rendition of the front and the backporch area of the venue. Our vision has always been to have an outdoor area kids can play that is secure while adults relax and enjoy their food and drinks. The area will have a large concert stage, turf, secure fence and gates. Stage? YES! live outdoor concerts, events and weddings etc!!!

Next update coming will be interior design!
