Trying to get outside of my usual a little more and taste what other great roasters are doing.

This washed Chiroso from Prodigal Coffee was a really good one to start with.

Big thanks to Ian LaCour for putting me on. Definitely going to keep trying more coffees like this while I keep learning and building Before They Wake.

The workouts are great, but the people are a big reason I keep showing up.

Hard to have a bad start to the day when you’re surrounded by a good crew.

Coffee afterward doesn’t hurt either. 😂☕️

Been trying to shift my perspective a little lately.

A lot of the things that feel like stuff we have to do are really things we get to do.

Another morning. A healthy body. People to provide for. Work worth doing.

Just trying to be a better steward of what God’s given me.

A two-mile walk turned into a HIIT workout, hill runs, the farmers market, and a much-needed cup of coffee.

Safe to say we made the most of our Saturday morning. Also safe to say I took a nap after 😂

I’ve shown a lot of the early mornings, workouts and coffee.

What I haven’t shown much of is what it actually looks like trying to build Before They Wake behind the scenes.

Still figuring it out as I go, so I’m going to start sharing more of that part too.

The good, the slow, what works and what doesn’t.

The early mornings started as a way to get some time to myself.

Workout. Coffee. A little quiet before the day gets moving.

Then somewhere along the way, the reason for doing it changed.

That little “dada” says it better than I ever could.
