Cashier: “Hey there! We’re actually closed and shutting down for the day.”

Customer: “Ohhh no! 🤦🏾‍♀️ I drove all the way over here just to get those wings!”

Me: “It’ll take about 10 minutes, but I can go ahead and fry them for you while we finish shutting down.”

Customer: Super appreciative! “Thank you so much! By the way, I had my HOA reach out to you about bringing your truck to our neighborhood. I see you’re coming next month!”

And just like that, I was reminded of something. 💛

Sometimes we’re tired, ready to go home, and just trying to get out the door. But going that extra mile for the very people who keep us in business can mean more than we realize.

It’s not always about making another sale. It’s about building relationships, showing appreciation, and remembering that every customer has a choice.

Thank you to everyone who continues to choose Mustard Seed Eatery! We don’t take your support for granted! 🙌🏾💚

So I’m off today, right?! But I still had it on my to-do list to call at least 10 plants and introduce myself.

While making my calls, one gentleman says, “I know who you are! I’ve eaten at your truck before, and I like how you do things and support others.”

Y’all, it was in that moment I could tell he was more than happy to help me get out to his site, of course, after completing the proper process!

But what stood out to me most was that simply being WHO I AM had already planted the seed for this opportunity!

So, as we start this new week, I want to leave you with this:

Nothing comes to a dreamer but a dream! Put the WORK in, move with good intentions, and never stop doing good. You never know who’s watching and how they may able to help you one day.

Cheers to a GREAT week and new partnerships!

And remember, collaboration happens at the TOP, and competition happens at the BOTTOM! There’s room for ALL of us to WIN! 🙌🏾

Cheers to another year around the sun!!!
Cheers to GOOD HEALTH!!! 🙌🏾
And CHEERS to GETTING IT OUT THE MUDDDDD!!!

And when I say OUT THE MUD… BABYYYY I MEAN OUT THE MUD!!!

Teenage runaway.
High school dropout.
Found out I could sell my lil tail off
Made my way into corporate America and stayed over 10 YEARS!! Not because I loved getting up going to work every day either 😂😂 but because I knew I needed the experience, the knowledge, the money, the credit, ALL OF IT!!!

I was building something and didn’t even know exactly what I was building yet.

Then one day I said… alright God… BET. I’M BETTING ON MEEEE!!! 😭🙌🏾

And here came MUSTARD SEED!!! 💛💚

That name means SO much to me because it reminds me that sometimes all you need is a LITTLE BIT of faith. You don’t have to have the whole plan. You don’t have to know every step. You just gotta be crazy enough to BELIEVE and stay faithful.

Because BABY… GOD GON’ DO THE REST!!! 🙌🏾😭

36 looks GOOD on me!!! 😂🥂
Still getting it out the mud. Still figuring it out. Still building. Still believing. Still BETTING ON MEEEE!!!

And if you know me, you KNOW I’m just getting started. 😘
