Happy (first) Birthday to you Cinco Cielos!

A year ago today, I launched Cinco with a simple idea: share an incredible coffee, tell the story behind it, and see how far we could take it.

Since then, that idea has turned into countless early mornings, farmers markets, events, partnerships, new customers, lessons learned, and opportunities I never could have predicted on day one.

There’s still a long way to go, but today I’m incredibly grateful for everyone who has bought a bag, stopped by an event, shared our story, partnered with us, or simply believed in what we’re building.

At Cinco Cielos, we only work with one coffee: Gesha. Ours is grown at 5,900 ft in the highlands of Colombia, and this particular lot scored 88.9 points.

For context: coffee needs at least 80 points to even be called “specialty.” Anything above 85 is considered exceptional. 88.9 puts this lot in a category very few coffees ever reach!

We don’t chase variety. We chase mastery of a single one.
