I just finished the handle on this 3 1/2” edc that I forged from a small piece of 1095 high carbon steel.

The handle is micarta with a piece of desert ironwood for an accent. There are green and yellow G10 liners and a brass spacer at the front. A 3/32” pin locks that handle in.

OK…had a bit of a scare on this one. I was making the sheath and shop dog got ahold of the knife. She found the antler handle quite tasty.

I think the white gnawed end of the handle gives it a bit of character though. Yeah, that’s the ticket. 😀

Sheath is done and on to the next one…

The sheath is a lot redder than it looked in the light I was working in. It can be a Christmas knife maybe..

These are ready for sheaths now. We’ll, the small one will get a sheath, but the other will get a sleeve.

The smaller is a 3 1/2” utility blade that has been acid etched and stone washed. It has some curly something with trails on top and one side. I put a piece of Katalox for an accent piece, and an orange G10 spacer to bond the materials.

The other is a 6” chef knife with walnut handle. Green micarta spacer, and it has an orange G10 spacer also. It will get it's first test for our pork stir fry tonight.
