🍀🍧Turning Shaved Ice Into Youth Opportunities!🍧🍀

Newton County 4-H is proud to partner with Kona Ice of E Covington-Watkinsville each year during the Newton County Rodeo. Through this annual partnership, a portion of sales helps support local 4-H youth and the programs that help them learn, lead, serve, and grow.

This past weekend, during the 2026 Newton County Rodeo, Kona Ice presented Newton County 4-H with a donation of $507! 🎉

Since this partnership began in 2023, Kona Ice has contributed an incredible $1,906.60 to support Newton County 4-H programming.

From leadership development and competitive events to camps and hands-on learning experiences, these funds help create opportunities that make a lasting impact on young people across our community.

A heartfelt thank you to Kona Ice for investing in Newton County 4-H and helping us turn shaved ice into youth opportunities, one cup at a time! 💚🍀

This Friday and Saturday night the place to be will be The Newton County Agricultural Center!🐴🐮Gates open at 5:00 and there will be loads of fun for the entire family! Come enjoy the rodeo and cool yourself off with KONA ICE! Make sure you grab Grandma along the way because she does not want to miss this!
