Days like this were made for Brunswick Stew so we brought it back from summer hiatus.

A hearty, scratchmade stew with a tomato base, potatoes, corn, and our signature smoky pulled pork. This southeastern regional favorite also has a home here at the Jersey Shore.

We will open as normal today at noon. If you’re local, come by and see us! We’ll keep it going as long as we have food and as long as it’s safe. 🐷🏴‍☠️

This photo from six years ago came up in my memories. My original setup at the Asbury Park Food Collective (Asbury Park Food Collective) on Sewell Avenue. Does anyone remember these days?

I’d work my 9-5 job all week, kiss my family goodbye on Friday and work alone overnight for the entire weekend doing catering, pop-ups, pickups, and whatever else I could get.

A lot has changed since then, but the craft, the quality, the dedication, and the obsession has not. Still doing it the old school way— trimming the meats by hand and smoking it fresh daily using nothing but wood. Still up before dawn. Still growing, learning, and improving.

Grateful as always to do what I love. Thanks for your support. 🐷🏴‍☠️

It’s a big week for Asbury Park. We’re open like normal Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. If you’re in town ahead of Sea Hear Now, come and see us!

We’ll be opening early at 11am on Saturday and Sunday to try and accommodate people before they go into the festival. We’ll be closing early at 3pm on those days as well because, quite frankly, the logistical challenges the festival creates hurt business to the point where it doesn’t make financial sense to stay open.

Our sister restaurant Mutiny Beach is located completely within the footprint of the festival and will be open both days for ticket-holders with full menu and table service. 🐷🏴‍☠️

We tried some new stuff this summer and these three heavy hitters will remain on the menu moving forward.

THE PHILLY CAROLINA— Our BBQ spin on a Philadelphia roast pork sandwich features our pulled pork, collard greens, provolone, and banana peppers on an Amoroso's Baking Company hoagie.

BRISKET CHEESESTEAK— Smoky chopped brisket, caramelized onions, and American cheese on an Amoroso hoagie topped with a smoked long hot pepper.

MUTINY THICK BURGER— A thick, handcrafted 1/2lb beef patty cooked pink medium with American cheese, white onion, pickles, and Mutiny Sauce. The beef comes to us freshly chopped in-house by our friends D'Ambrisi Wholesale Foods.

We are grateful to be named the #8 BBQ restaurant in the state of New Jersey— top spot in Monmouth County and the entire Shore area as a whole.
