💕 HI, IT’S ME 💕
Lately I’ve had quite a few new faces join me here, so I thought it was time to reintroduce myself! If you’re new here, welcome! And if you’ve been here for a while… hi again!
My name is Nikole, I’m 38 years old, a mom to two girls, and I’m the heart and soul behind Sugar on the Shelf. 🩷🍪
What started as baking cakes and cookies for fun for my family and friends eventually turned into the crazy idea of, “Hmmmm… maybe I could share my baked goods with the people around me!” And somehow, here we are!
So, since you’re here, I thought I’d share a few things about me that have absolutely nothing to do with cookies… well, mostly. 😉
✝️ I love Jesus with my whole heart. Without Him, none of this would be possible. Sugar on the Shelf is not only woman-owned, but it is also faith-based, and that is a non-negotiable for me. My faith is at the heart of everything I do.
🍎 I LOVE FALL. It is hands down my favorite season. BUT… fall means apple everything. Pumpkin? Absolutely not and yes, I know I bake pumpkin goodies. That’s just me being nice to all my pumpkin-loving people. You’re welcome. 😂
📚 I LOVE TO READ. I don’t have nearly as much time for it these days, but when I do get the chance, I’m probably curled up with a book. My favorite book of all time is A Court of Thorns and Roses, so if I suddenly disappear toward the end of October… I’m fine. I’m just reading the newly released book 6. 📖
🦶 I HATE having my ankles touched.
I don’t know why. I don’t know where this came from. I just know it feels SO weird and honestly should probably be illegal.
❄️ I DESPISE WINTER.
Snow should be nonexistent… EXCEPT on Christmas morning. That is the one and only exception I will allow.
📺 My comfort shows include Gilmore Girls, The Office, and Judge Judy.
And don’t judge me for Judge Judy. SHE GIVES GOOD ADVICE. 😂
🍪 My favorite baked good?
A warm, gooey chocolate chip cookie straight out of the oven with a COLD glass of milk. There is absolutely nothing better. I will not be taking questions at this time. 🥛
But one of my absolute favorite things about this little business is YOU. ❤️
I genuinely love meeting every single one of my customers. Hearing that you loved something I baked, seeing you come back for another cookie, watching you take a chance on one of my crazy creations, and hearing about your experience with my Blind Date with a Cookie concept means more to me than you probably realize.
