This is it… our FINAL weekend at Vampire Penguin 🐧💔

From birthday parties and first dates to after-game celebrations and “just because” sweet treats, this place has been more than shaved snow—it’s been memories, laughter, and community.

We’re incredibly grateful for every single one of you who walked through our doors and supported us along the way. You made this place special.

Come see us one last time this weekend, grab your favorite flavor, and help us close this chapter the right way.

Good Evening VP Community 💛

We come to you with solemn news. Our doors will officially close on April 26th.

Beginning tomorrow, we will be closed Monday–Thursday as we take time to soak in quality moments with our granddaughter and family.

From the bottom of our hearts — thank you. Since the day we opened our doors, our family has experienced so much life right alongside you. We’ve welcomed three grandchildren, celebrated a wedding, two high school graduations, a college graduation, and so many milestones in between.

But our favorite part? Celebrating yours.

Your first hit. Your first win. Straight A report cards. Lost teeth. Great dental checkups. Birthdays. Anniversaries. Big wins and small victories that meant everything.

You didn’t just support a business — you became part of our story. And we are forever grateful.

As we prepare to close this chapter, we are open to selling the store to anyone who may feel called to step into this venture and continue what was built here. If you’re interested in details, please send us a message.

🖤 Temporary Closure for a Meaningful Cause 🖤

Today, our Vampire Penguin family will be closed as we walk together in the Out of the Darkness Walk to honor and remember someone very special to us — our grandmother.

This walk is more than a tradition for our family. It’s a moment to remember, to reflect, and to stand with millions of others who have been touched by su***de. Mental health matters. Checking on your people matters. Hope matters.

Su***de affects families, friends, and communities in ways that never fully fade. By walking today, we’re helping bring awareness, break the stigma, and remind others that they are never alone — even in their darkest moments.

If you or someone you love is struggling, please know there is help, there is hope, and there are people who care deeply.

Thank you for your understanding, your kindness, and your continued support. We’ll be back open tomorrow and look forward to serving you.

Good evening, Vampys. Due to the weather, a water pipe outside is causing issues to our building. Unfortunately, we have no water to the store and must close. We expect to reopen on Tuesday, during our normal hours.

The city has a main water line down outside the store right now. We cannot open without water per the health department.
