PSA: Tonight we had the pleasure of serving in Apex at the National Night Out Touch-A-Truck celebration. Throughout the evening, several customers mentioned they thought we had closed—so let’s clear that up.
I was the owner of the property on Hwy 55 in Apex, known as The Food Truck Spot. On September 30th, 2025 I sold that property. Initially, we were told the new owners planned to continue hosting food trucks on the lot. However, during the closing process, that plan changed—we were informed that all trucks had to be removed.
At the same time, I was already in the process of downsizing and selling one of our beignet trucks. That sale is now complete, and moving forward, we’ll be focusing on events and catering.
Here’s the truth: when local patrons don’t consistently support food trucks and small businesses, even longtime favorites can disappear without warning. These trucks aren’t just places to grab a bite—they’re part of the heartbeat of our community. Your support helps us stay visible, viable, and vibrant. Without it, many of us are forced to make tough decisions that can lead to downsizing, relocating, or closing altogether. So when you show up, spread the word, and choose local, you’re helping keep the flavor of Apex alive.
Thank you for being part of our journey and for continuing to show up. We’re still here—and we’re not done yet.
