Yesterday, one of our ice cream trucks was involved in a minor accident while operating at Shadyside Memorial Park. While driving through the parking lot, the vehicle came into contact with a concrete base that had previously supported a light pole.

We are thankful to report that no members of the public were injured. Our driver sustained only minor injuries to her leg and is recovering well. Safety has always been, and will continue to be, our top priority for both our customers and our team members.

At Indiana Sweet Treats, all drivers are required to complete a background check and drug screening before being permitted to operate any of our vehicles. In the event of any accident or incident, drivers are immediately drug tested as part of our safety and accountability procedures to ensure safe operations at all times.

We appreciate the concern and support shown by members of the community. We are currently reviewing the incident internally and are grateful the situation was not more serious.

good news, our vendors have lowered our prices just a bit, meaning we can pass that savings on to you this summer and we plan to drop prices on anything we can this summer :)
