📢 SCHEDULE UPDATE
Well… unfortunately, we have a change to our upcoming schedule.
Even though Samsquatch Provisions & Trading LLC was initially approved to participate in the 1st Saturday Vendor Markets at the Palmer Borough Gym, I was notified today that the powers that be decided to rescind our invitation.
Because of that, Samsquatch will NOT be at the previously announced October 3, November 7, or December 19 markets. I know some of you were planning to come see us, so I wanted to get the word out as soon as possible.
It’s definitely disappointing, especially after already receiving approval and announcing the dates.
I stated in my last post that I had applied for a couple more events. Unfortunately, we've been denied for one of these events as well.
This is the part of starting a small business that makes it very difficult to maintain and keep going. Even with all the great success we had this summer, the consistent community presence and name recognition all across the valley, the nearly 100% positive feedback, repeat customers, and just about everyone saying our banana bread was the best they've ever had....it's not been enough for the committees making the decisions about who gets to attend the winter events to approve our participation. I'll keep my eye out for more events but it's not looking good. Down but not out.
If I had a food truck, then we might have more options but they're extremely expensive. For a small business, that's just not an option right now. Someday though....someday :)
Thank you to everyone who continues to support our little veteran-owned family business. We had an incredible first summer and truly appreciate all the connections we've made.
