🌽 A quick update on our sweet corn: Unfortunately, this season has come to an end after the recent storms damaged the remaining crop. We want to sincerely thank everyone who came out to support us. You sold us out again and again, and we're incredibly grateful!

As one harvest ends, another begins, and we've got plenty more fresh produce still coming your way.

We are transitioning from summer to fall crops, so with that in mind, we will be doing a lot more baking! Think pumpkin pies, caramel apple, pecan pie themes!

Okay… I think Queen City Harvest is entering its baking era. 🍪🍂

As summer starts winding down, I’m working on bringing more fresh-baked goodies to the farmstand and markets this fall.

Think warm spices, gooey brownies, cookies, mini loaves, cinnamon rolls, candied pecans… basically all the cozy things. 🤎

And yes, I fully intend to make the farmstand smell dangerously good.

🚨Friday Farmers Market Update 🚨

After careful consideration, we will not be at the Union Township Farmers Market today. With these storms coming through, we decided to sit this one out. We will be opening the farmstand tomorrow from 9am - 7pm!

Not everything happens the first time you try.

Sometimes you give it everything you have and it still doesn’t work. Sometimes you try again and get disappointed all over again. And after a while, it can start to feel like maybe it just isn’t meant for you.

But failure doesn’t always mean stop.

Sometimes it means learn. Adjust. Rest. Try again when you’re ready.

These flowers took me three years to grow successfully. But this isn’t really about flowers.

It’s about the things in life that take longer than we thought they would.

The dream that still hasn’t happened.
The business that isn’t growing fast enough.
The goal you keep falling short of.
The version of yourself you’re still trying to become.

It’s easy to compare your timeline to everyone else’s and feel behind. It’s easy to think that because something hasn’t worked yet, it never will.

But “not yet” is not the same as “never.”

Sometimes the only difference between giving up and getting there is deciding to try one more time.

So keep going.

Keep learning.

Keep believing that all the effort, mistakes, setbacks, and slow progress are still leading somewhere.

You may be closer than you think.

And one day, you might look around and realize that the thing you almost gave up on is finally blooming. 🌸
