💙 A SWEET LITTLE FAMILY UPDATE 💙

Our newest addition, Sterling Walker Hess, has officially arrived, and we are completely smitten with our newest little love! 🥹🤍

My water broke on August 7th at 4 AM, and after a little over 19 hours of laboring, Sterling made his grand entrance and officially made us birthday twins! 🎂💙 I couldn’t have asked for a sweeter birthday gift.

This sweet boy made quite the entrance — and without hesitation, my in-laws came over at 4 AM to stay with Denver and Lily while we headed to the hospital. And somehow, even in the middle of all the excitement, my bakery orders still had to be taken care of! 😂

I had an 88-cookie back-to-school order already on my books, and thankfully, I had all of the dough made ahead of time. My incredible mother-in-law baked all 88 cookies for me, and then she and my mom spent time individually packaging every single cookie with its gift tag and bow. 🎀🍪

My sister-in-law also jumped in today to help with another back-to-school order. I truly could not have done any of this without them. ❤️

So a very special THANK YOU to my mom, mother-in-law, father-in-law, and sister-in-law. You all stepped in without question and kept things moving while I got to focus on bringing our sweet boy into the world. I am beyond blessed to have such an amazing support system surrounding our family.

My mom is even taking the week off to help with Denver and Lily as we head into back-to-school season, which is such a gift as we adjust to being a family of five. 🥹

For the next few weeks, I’m going to take some much-needed time to rest, heal, soak up the newborn cuddles, and enjoy this special time with our family. 🤍

Sweet Magnolias Cottage Bakery will still be accepting special-order requests, but I’ll be limiting the number of orders I take while I focus on healing and being present with my family. Thank you all so much for your patience, love, and continued support of my little bakery. It means more than you know. 🌸

Now excuse me while I go snuggle my birthday twin. 🥰💙
