A co**ha is a traditional Mexican pan dulce (sweet bread). Named after the Spanish word for "shell", it is famous for its fluffy, soft, lightly sweetened dough bread.
The crunchy top—known as pasta—is sweet and more traditionally in Pink, chocolate, white or yellow crust.
Because it is not overwhelmingly sweet, the co**ha is a staple for breakfast or an afternoon snack. It is almost always paired with a hot beverage for dipping, such as café de olla, hot chocolate, or atole.
Locally and In house baked here at Yummy Bites. You can order in bulk, mini size, sliced into a sandwich with cream and strawberries famously know in house as Co**ha Burgers, French Toast style, filled with ice cream or just grab them by one.
Fluffy warm and delicious!
