🎤🤠 The Day Before Prep Day 🤠🎤

Well it's Wednesday night and the kitchen's still clean,
That's about the rarest thing you've ever seen.

The flour's on the shelf, the starter's laying low,
But tomorrow morning y'all already know...

Michelle's gonna be mixing while I'm hauling sacks,
Trying to remember where we put all the baking racks.

Got coffee in the bags and the roaster's done,
But the baking side of things? Well, we've only just begun.

The cookies are coming,
The muffins are too,
The sourdough lineup is rolling through.

Classic, favorites, and all the usual crew,
But this week we've got something a little bit new.

👀 There's a mystery loaf waiting in the wings,
A brand-new flavor if everything swings.

We're keeping it secret till Friday night,
Assuming the dough behaves and the starter acts right.

So saddle up, friends, and stay tuned awhile,
We'll drop the big reveal with a flour-covered smile.

Then Saturday morning come on through,
We'll be at the Nazareth Farmers Market waiting for you.

Fresh bread. Fresh coffee. Fresh baked treats.

🌬️💨 We are all set up and ready to go!

It's a little windy out here today at Saylorsburg Farmers Market at Saylors Inn. In fact, our canopy seems to have decided it wants to start a new life somewhere else, but we're doing our best to convince it to stay. 😆

If you see us chasing a flying tent across the parking lot, just know we're committed to providing both baked goods AND entertainment.

We'll be here until 2 PM with fresh sourdough, English muffins, cookies, focaccia, and freshly roasted coffee.

What you’re looking at in this bin (image below) is the very beginning of one of our sourdough loaves before it ever becomes the bread that you know. Flour, salt, inclusions, all the good stuff waiting to be mixed into dough.

And in this one bin?

It’s always fun seeing how something that eventually ends up sliced on a dinner table starts out looking like a mysterious bucket of ingredients. 😅

Looks like another rainy Saturday at the Nazareth Farmers Market. We are still prepping and baking away. Cookies and loaves are starting to pile up and cool. We will still be bringing plenty tomorrow for all of our Nazareth friends.

☕ Coffee Roasting Day for the Nazareth Farmers Market ☕

This Saturday we’ll be back at the Nazareth Farmers Market, and this week’s prep starts where it always should…

With coffee roasting!

The video below is a quick look into part of the roasting process with a catchy tune. From green coffee beans to the fresh roasted bagged coffee. These are a few steps on how it ends up on the table for you on market morning.

And honestly, this is one of the biggest differences between what we do and mass-produced grocery store coffee.

Most commercial coffee is roasted in massive quantities weeks or months before you ever drink it. A lot of it sits on shelves long after the flavors that made it special are gone.

We roast in small batches, by hand, paying attention to each roast so the natural flavors of the coffee actually come through.

♡ Ethiopian
Bright, fruity, lively.
This is the coffee for people who like more complex flavors and a lighter, vibrant cup.

♤ Honduran
Smooth, nutty, earthy, chocolatey.
A very balanced, comforting everyday coffee with a rich finish.

♧ Peru SWP Decaf
Swiss Water Process Decaf with notes of malt chocolate and roasted almonds.
No harsh chemical decaffeination process — just smooth, full coffee flavor without the caffeine.

Coffee should taste like something unique… not just “dark roast.”

And yes… 🌧️ there’s a chance of rain AGAIN this Saturday.

But the last time we were there back on May 9th, the rain held off until the very end and we got a chance to meet a lot of you!

So if you’re heading to the Nazareth Farmers Market this weekend, come grab a bag or two, or three 😋 while it’s still fresh out of the roaster.
