Nearly 2,000 golf balls sold in one year—and every single one came from a cow field. 🐄⛳

Last year, GB Snacks & Treats sold over 166 dozen golf balls that were collected from the cow field next to the golf course. That’s nearly 2,000 lost golf balls cleaned, sorted, and returned to the game!

Who knew the cows were running such a successful golf ball recovery operation?

While we also sold water, iced tea, energy drinks, Gatorade, Rice Krispy treats, crackers, and plenty more, our golf balls were actually our best-selling item.

In fact, we sold enough golf balls last year to make the cows our Employees of the Year. 🏆🐄

We’ve spotted some of you out on the course already 👀⛳️ which means it’s almost time!!

GB Snacks & Treats — your self-serve snack stand on the third tee at Birch Run Golf Course — is getting ready for the season. We just added a larger table (freshly stained and sanded today!) and we’re counting down the days until we can fill it with all your favorite snacks and cold drinks. 🍫🥤🍿
