Achatz Burgers Not only Clays best but America’s best burger. Since 1964, the Achatz family has perfected the craft. We’re a small mom-and-pop shop, open Thursday and Friday from noon to 8 p.m., and Saturday from noon to 7 p.m.

On the other days, we focus on logistics, cleaning, and preparation, ensuring every visit is exceptional. We proudly source fresh ingredients from Detroit’s Eastern Market and bake our buns fresh daily. Each burger is cooked to order, a testament to decades of dedication. Well, boys and girls the crew for the sewer has moved down in front of our restaurant. They are doing a great job and doing the best they can for us. We still have water. They tapped into the sewer line in front of the restaurant which doesn’t affect our restaurant so we are open today. Thank goodness we have a new infrastructure all new sewer here, they didn’t have to tap into it or shut our water off. We’re waiting for you, a’cooking up some fresh Angus burgers, fresh baked buns. The only thing is there is only one entrance and exit in the front so be courteous it shouldn’t pose a problem. We’ll have to enter and exit the same area. Thank you !
