At the Expo entrance, Sasha’s Superhero Run to Help Ukraine is COLLECTING WOOL SOCKS AND THERMAL BASE LAYER UNDERWEAR FOR PEOPLE OF UKRAINE (all sizes for kids/adults and new/gently-worn welcome). In recent weeks, 30% of the Ukrainian energy infrastructure has been destroyed in deliberate bombings by Russia’s terrorist state. In addition to constant threat of missile attacks, many people living in Ukraine are facing a long, harsh winter with no heat, water or electricity. These items will be shipped to partner organizations in Kharkiv, Kyiv, Nikopol and other towns for distribution to civilians and Ukrainian soldiers this winter. Due to high shipping costs, they request donations of only clothing made from wool or wicking synthetic fabrics. Monetary donations are also accepted and welcomed. Thank you!

The first snowfall of the season turns Town of Greenfield's Brookhaven Golf Course into a winter wonderland full of groomed trails for Nordic skiing and snowshoeing. At the foothills of the Adirondacks, the Parks beauty is on full display year round. The park is free (donations are accepted) and It's proximity to Glens Falls and Saratoga provide an excellent Adirondack ski experience just minutes from home. It's elevation and location provides abundant snow that sticks around much longer than the coverage just a few miles away. You can go out and ski for an hour without having to spend a lot of time behind the wheel.😊😊😊
