They certainly were, and this weekend felt worth sharing.

Fabula Tea ’s A Cup Across Time brought 29 curious tea lovers for ancient tree stories, aged treasures, and rare teas most people never get to taste. Missed it? They’ll return to SIPS on October 3 for another tea salon.

Demo, Dine & Desserts at Blue Drip Co. also brought guests together for a tea-infused dinner, for yet another reminder that tea can go far beyond the cup.

Marlene Quan here from Sips Global Teas, and I’m joining Blue Drip Co. for Demo, Dine & Desserts — a cozy communal dining night where tea becomes part of the appetizer, the meal, and the whole experience.

I’ll be showing how to infuse olive oil with tea, then guests will enjoy a tea-infused chicken dinner with roasted potatoes and broccolini, followed by your choice of triple chocolate torte or tres leches strawberry cake.
