This week we're going to once again do a pizza the week. This week we are bringing back the fra diavolo. It has roasted cherry tomatoes, garlic and hot cherry peppers. It is then topped with oregano, Parmesan cheese and olive oil. It is spicy. As with all the weekly specials, this is not available as a calzone or stromboli.

We are still accepting reservations for dine-in. If you happen to walk in when you have no reservations, we will accommodate you as best we can. However, if we have reservations booked, we will not be able to seat you.

Just a reminder for everyone, today we will start doing dine in service by reservation only. You must call to make a reservation, we are not able to do it through Facebook. And please, do not leave any orders or reservation requests on the voicemail. We are giving customers approximately 75 minutes, so if you would like a deep dish make sure you order it when you make a reservation. That way you will have enough time to enjoy it. We will ask that you know the number of people in your party, as we will not be able to add people when you get here to the governor's requirements on spacing and social distancing.

We have begun taking reservations for dine-in starting June 3rd.we will be reservation only for the month of June or until the current governor's orders are lifted. It is the only way we can realistically comply with the social distancing needed. We will not be allowing any walk in dine in. we will keep the bar for those of you that want to have a beer while you wait for to-go orders.
All reservations will be given to approximately 75 minutes, so if you would like a deep dish with your order, you must order it ahead of time.

Everyone,

We will be partially opening our bar and dining area beginning May 21, at 4:00 pm.

From May 21st thru June 2nd we will be serving our take out customers beer and/or appetizers while they wait for their take out order to be completed. There will be limited tables and bar seating to allow for mandated social distancing. We will not be providing full dinner service until after the end of May. This allows everyone to come in a see the temporary seating layout and get a better idea how dining in during the month of June will look.

Beginning June 3rd, we will be open for full dine in service with a reservation on a temporary basis. We will only be allowing dine-in with a reservation. We will not be allowing dine-in for walk-in customers. You must have a reservation to dine-in with us. We will still offer the bar for take out customers to wait, have a beer, etc. and dedicate the dining area for dine-in customers. This is only to allow us to accommodate social distancing requirements and disinfectant protocols. Unfortunately, we are too small to allow diners to wait for a table indoors and still adhere to the state's social distancing requirements.

Reservations will only be taken during the duration of the current state health department orders. The orders we have been forwarded are scheduled to expire July 1, 2020 and we are planning that full capacity dining will be permitted in July and we can go back to normal. Not the "new normal" but normal.

Our maximum capacity will be 24 total customers. We will only be able to accommodate parties of up to 8 diners per reservation. You must know the number of your party when you place the reservation. We will not be able to add guests to a reservation upon arrival. And to accommodate social distancing requirements ALL CHILDREN will count as diners, regardless of age. We will need a minimum of 90 minutes notice for a reservation. EX - you can call at 4:00 but the earliest reservation available for you will be 5:30. We will begin taking reservations starting tomorrow for June. There are no reservations for the rest of May.

All dine-in DEEP DISH orders must be placed when you place your reservation. This will give guests the full time to dine with as little wait time as possible.

We are planning on 75 minute table times (time for a customer to spend at the table) and 90 minute reservation intervals. Our goal is to offer the guests that wish to distance the ability to do so and to allow for the staff to disinfect the table and seating prior to the next guest seating.

This is the best compromise we have been able to come up with under these circumstances. But we do need to ask that all guests please follow the directions of the staff and stay seated, blah, blah, blah... We have already had one complaint about masks with the health department visiting us earlier today, so we just want to minimize that as much as possible.

But FYI, for anyone coming in, there is a medical exception to the mask wearing requirement. Based on this, not all staff will be wearing a face covering. If this will be an issue for you, please consider this before planning on coming in.

Most importantly we want to thank everyone that has continued to support us during this time. We have been able to keep going and most importantly keep the staff working. And we want everyone to know we have appreciated your business more than you know, so Thank You.

If you are a truck driver, and you need to eat, let us know, place a carry-out order, and you can pull right up front to do your pickup. Our deliveries do the same thing, just put on your hazards and come in and pick up your food.

Just an FYI for everyone, due to the Governor's mandate, we will only be able to do to-go orders for the foreseeable future. We will be open regular hours, or as business dictates. We are also doing growler fills for $12.00 during this time. We do not have growlers for sale, but if you bring yours, we will sanitize it and fill for you.

Small, but fast-paced Brewpub in the East Akron area is in immediate need of a part-time server. This position requires both nights and weekends. Experience helps, but is not required. We have really enjoyed coming here for great pizza...until tonight. There was no line and two open four top tables. The only seats we were โ€œallowedโ€ to take were two at the bar between other people. When we inquired about sitting at one of the open tables we were told we could not because they had to keep them available for groups of three or more. We could wait for one of the two tops to become open and it would probably not be long. We walked out very disappointed in the service which until this visit had always been great. We tried to call to ask to speak to the manager right after we left and were told they werenโ€™t in. We had seen both of the two we think are the owners in the kitchen. Very disappointed with how we were treated.
We have decided to have this pizza again this week.
