I’ve been on a binge of making Rice Krispie treats (when I can find fu***ng Rice Krispies!). But not just regular old Rice Krispie treats. It’s been like a game when I’m walking down the cereal aisle… what would be good in a Krispie. Rice Krispies are mixed with another cereal. First was Fruity Pebbles. I know this is a common one but I didn’t like it. Too sweet. Then Peanut Butter Cap’n Crunch (and a little peanut butter mixed with the marshmallow). Pretty good. Cinnamon Rice Krispies with Apple Jacks was far and above any of the others so far. And tonight I made them with Dunkin Donuts Mocha Latte cereal (who knew there was such a thing!) and Fruit Loops. I’ll report back tomorrow and let you know how my work peeps like them.

Today it’s cheese (ricotta, parm, Romano, Asiago) stuffed manicotti. Mozzarella on top. Yum!

I tried a new recipe tonight and it was delicious! And it will utilize the abundance of zucchini and yellow squash you may have right now. You can use any shape pasta, I just happen to love linguini. Basically you are making a sauce out of squash. It was super simple to make and really nice. I’ll definitely be making this again.
