Happy New Year's Eve, friends! 💗

While I have been away for some time now, I wanted to pop on to express my utmost gratitude, and additionally to provide a bit more clarity around what's going on. This will be our final week of service, our last day being Saturday, January 4th. Saturday also happens to be Matt's Birthday - so please be sure to show him much needed love & well wishes.

Unintentionally becoming out of alignment with yourself is a road that will inevitably lead to chaos & burn out. This is especially true when you begin to listen more to the perceived external pressures & demands vs. pausing internally to trust your own intuition & heart. It's so easy as a small business trying to make it in the world to get swept up in the hustle & bustle of attempting to make (and keep) everyone happy, that sometimes you lose sight of your authentic spark along the way.

In complete transparency, while all of this is incredibly hard, and quite frankly is just downright terrifying - I truly believe that there is something beautiful about a tower moment, even if it's heartbreaking at first. The opportunity to take a pause, and learn who we are outside of Scullery is a bittersweet breath of fresh air that I'm not sure that either of us knew we needed until now. I think one of the biggest things that we have learned in the last decade is that less really is so much more. 🥹

At its core & foundation, Square Scullery is everything that dreams, love & community are made of. While we may no longer be the right people to lead the way, we are truly hoping that someone else may be. We would love nothing more than for Scullery to have the honest opportunity that she deserves to grow into the full potential we built her to be. As we approach the end of 2024, we find ourselves filled with gratitude for everyone who’s given us the opportunity to share a meal with them—and for those we’ve yet to meet. This year has been unforgettable. It’s been a journey of ups and downs, pivots and lessons, and yet here we stand, ready to close it out with you.

On New Year’s Eve, we’ll be open to the public from 5 PM to “12ish”, offering good vibes, great food, and an extra-special way to cap off the year. For those looking to go all out, we’re serving a 6-course tasting menu that promises to top off your year in the most memorable way and give you plenty to talk about in 2025.

To those who had already booked prior offerings, we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused by recent changes. We’re people navigating this ever-evolving world and industry, and your patience and understanding mean the world to us.

To set the perfect mood, we’re thrilled to announce that DJ Brain Wreck will be spinning live from the Chef’s Table in the kitchen, bringing energy and unforgettable vibes to the evening.
