One of the greatest joys of local coffee is the people we meet along the way.

This week, we had the pleasure of welcoming Izzare and Kuen from the DMV (DC, Maryland & Virginia area). What started as a stop for coffee turned into a lovely conversation about local venues, hidden gems, and all the things that make our little corner of Virginia so special.

They chose our neck of the woods for their getaway, and by the end of our visit, they were already making plans to come back. That, to us, is the highest compliment.

Thank you, Izzare and Kuen, for spending a bit of your adventure time with us. We can’t wait to welcome you back to Nelson County. ❤️

A customer popped in after the nudging of a few friends to buy coffee (get this) for their rafting trip to Fairbanks, Alaska. 😀

They streamlined their accoutrements to the necessities, and we made that list.

Beyond stoked.

It’s the simple yet equally profound things, you know…The realization that something roasted right here in Nelson County will be enjoyed around campfires, on riverbanks, and in the midst of an unforgettable adventure thousands of miles away.

Another beautiful day at the Nelson Farmers Market Coop.! There is a nice breeze under the tent. Jani's tasty treat today is homemade baklava (delicious with coffee, btw:) from Five Stones Homestead. The tomatoes and produce at Second Mountain Farm are absolutely beautiful and delicious. Kim and Jimbo Cary are playing some sweet tunes for the whole family. Come on out! Market is open until 12pm.

Today's must try tastiness: a green goddess breakfast biscuit from Oakshire Farm. (Pair with your favorite TBC, of course:)

Check out the cool mushies from Briar Fork Farm. You'll see a TBC familiar face(Alden!) there to help you out.
