"A Good African Story" is my new book about my business experiences over the last eight years as I tried to build a global coffee brand. I have set out the arguments for building a sustainable trade framework and reducing dependency on handouts and the need for a change in the way Africa is perceived in the west.

I have also shared the many personal obstacles I faced: from the impossibility of finding capital, to supply and distribution issues, to the prejudice and the cynicism I faced in the export markets- just some of the many barriers that prevent fair and equal trade between Africa and the rest of the world.

African entrepreneurs rarely write their stories and this denies the next generation the intellectual capital that encourages them to dream, innovate and aspire to become the continents next business leaders. I hope this book encourages you to continue to this discussion and please tell a friend. The book is available at most leading bookshops and on amazon.co.uk from Thursday 7th February 2013.

Thank you,
Andrew Rugasira

I like my coffee brewed extra strong in a press pot. I usually add a little bit of cream or I drink it black. How do you like your coffee?
