The Beijing underground cross-city railway is a short railway connection in Beijing. The speed limit is 120 km/h. It connects the important transportation hubs Beijing railway station and Beijing West railway station via a tunnel. It also connects lines from southern and western areas with lines from northeast China. The railway has a length span of 9.156 km (5.689 mi), and has been officially operational since March 20, 2015.It is used by conventional railway lines such as K7752 from Shijiazhuang to Chengde via Beijing West railway station and Beijing railway station. It is also used by the commuter rail service in Beijing, the Sub-Central line of the Beijing Suburban Railway, which started in December 2017.

The U.S. Post Office in Sycamore, Illinois is listed on the National Register of Historic Places as part of the Sycamore Historic District. The district was designated and listed in May 1978. It stands directly across the street from another key structure in the district, the Sycamore Public Library and cross-corner from the district's largest structure, the DeKalb County Courthouse. It is open M-F from 8:30 am – 6:00 pm, Sat. from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm, and it is closed on Sunday.

Paul Desruisseaux (May 1, 1905 – February 2, 1982) was a Canadian lawyer, businessman, and politician.
Born in Sherbrooke, Quebec, he studied law at the Université de Montréal and was called to the Quebec bar in 1934. He was the owner of La Tribune, a daily newspaper in Sherbrooke, CHLT radio station, CKTS radio station, and television station CHLT-TV.
In 1966, he was summoned to the Senate of Canada on the advice of Lester Pearson. A Liberal, he represented the senatorial division of Wellington, Quebec. He retired on his 75th birthday in 1980.

For the first time since 1924, nations were allowed to have more than one competitor each (the limit was raised to two); for the first time since 1924, one nation took multiple medals. Italians Sante Gaiardoni and Valentino Gasparella won gold and bronze, giving Italy a four-Games podium streak with three total gold medals—second all-time behind France's five. The Florida Gulf Coast Eagles men's basketball team is the men's basketball team that represents Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers, Florida, United States. The school's team currently competes in the ASUN Conference.In 2002, Florida Gulf Coast became an independent member of NCAA Division II. Florida Gulf Coast also started its men's basketball team, with Dave Balza as head coach from the inaugural 2002–03 to the 2010–11 season. He was succeeded by Andy Enfield from 2011–13, who took the Eagles to the Sweet Sixteen as the first ever 15-seed to do such. After putting FGCU on the map with their new "Dunk City" moniker, Enfield accepted the men's basketball position at USC. Joe Dooley then assumed the role from 2013-2018 before accepting the Head Coach position at East Carolina The Eagles are now led by long-time program assistant coach, Michael Fly. In 2006, Florida Gulf Coast applied for NCAA Division I status and became a transitory Division I effective in the 2007–08 season. Florida Gulf Coast became a full Division I member on August 11, 2011.The Eagles men's basketball team is best known for their run in the 2013 NCAA Men's Division I Basketball Tournament, their first since moving up to Division I. In the Round of 64, the Eagles defeated the #2 seed Georgetown 78–68. It was only the seventh time that a 15th seed had defeated a 2nd seed, and the second-highest margin of victory for one. Two days later in the Round of 32, the Eagles defeated the #7 seed San Diego State 81–71, becoming the first 15th seed to ever advance to the Sweet 16. The school was referred to as "Dunk City" or "Florida Dunk Coast" on many media outlets such as ESPN and CBS due to their high-flying athletic finishing style.
