Mue Yeh Pae, also known as Nang Mue Yeh, was a Karen woman who became a queen consort to King Thamala of the ancient Lanna Kingdom in Northern Thailand. Her marriage symbolized the strong alliance and cultural integration between the Karen people and the Lanna Kingdom. Mue Yeh Pae’s legacy continues to be a significant symbol of unity between the Karen and Thai communities, reflecting the deep historical ties between these groups. Mue Yeh Pae was also known as the most beautiful Karen woman of her time.
