Local delight Bluespoon café has found a new home along the bustling Joo Chiat Road strip. Previously called Ulu Ulu Café Lounge and located at Loyang Offshore Supply Base where it resided for almost 3 years, Bluespoon then moved to its current 2-storey shophouse location at 325 Joo Chiat Road to fill a casual dining spot niche for the halal community (we've just been approved by Muis!)) with a “c
offee-house” styled menu of Asian and Western dishes catering to the whole family from the young to the young at heart. Featuring specialities such as Buah Keluak Rendang (beef or chicken), Slow Roast Chicken Stew, Curried Lamb Shank, Chinese Lamb Shank Soup, Shepherd’s Pie, Macaroni Cheese, Bluespoon’s dishes evoke hearty comfort food. These dishes stem from chef Dillon’s favourite memories of his childhood dining experiences, thus a menu of Asian & Western dishes. (Australian and New Zealand lamb & beef are used in our dishes.) There’s also a selection of finger food, desserts, and sides. Prices range from $4.50 (finger food) to $$19.90 (mains). Our Express Gourmet service comes with a selection of freshly frozen dishes where one simply defrosts, heats & voila, serves (food comes in microwavable containers). You may purchase in store or browse through the gourmet goodies at www.bluespoon.sg
Housed in a 2-storey shophouse, Bluespoon features an open kitchen with seating for 14 persons on the ground floor and 45 persons on the air-conditioned 2nd level. For groups of 10-12 persons, we offer a cosy private room on the 2nd floor. The entire 2nd floor is available for private events & parties with buffet style service. All meat and ingredients are sourced from Halal suppliers and it’s also an alcohol-free zone.
