We put a lot of effort into catching and preserving the freshness of our imported ingredients, but if not taken care of - it will all go to waste (quite literally!) 😭

To avoid an unfortunate scenario from happening, here’s a quick and easy guide:

1. Keep your freezer organised ✔
Move the old items to the front and store the new ones at the back, to make sure you’re not leaving any food to quietly rot in the fridge.

2. Air flow is key ✔
Don’t let your freezer be too stuffed or cluttered. The cold air must circulate smoothly across every product to keep their freshness.

3. Minimise freezer burn with vacuum sealing ✔
Vacuum seal your products before putting them in the freezer to avoid spoilage.

4. Blanch vegetables first ✔
Before storing vegetables in the freezer, blanche them first to maintain their colour, flavour, and nutrients.

5. Everything has a shelf life ✔
Even the highest quality of frozen food has a shelf life. Make sure to take note of their expiration dates to avoid wastage.
