If you’ve ever had breakfast in Singapore, you’ll know kaya toast. It’s the kind of thing we grow up eating, bread, cold butter, and kaya, a fragrant coconut and pandan spread that’s sweet, bright, and unlike anything else.

This is our take on it. The Kaya & Butter Roll is new to the Glasshouse menu: a pillowy, pull-apart roll served with housemade kaya and a slab of cold butter. Simple, intentional, and very Singapore.

Find it on the menu now. On weekday mornings until 10AM, you can order it as a breakfast bundle with your choice of coffee or hot tea.

Something new is in the space.

We’re opening our first dessert pop-up series with .singapore , a homegrown brand we’ve admired, best known for the Orh Nee Cake that quietly became iconic.

Running from May to 21 June 2026 at CHIJMES.

Four desserts, paired intentionally with our beverage programme:

Citrus Slice × Black Coffee
Tofu × Mocha
Luna 2.0 × Matcha
Orh Nee Cake × Cold Brew Drifting Snowflakes Jasmine Green with leaves from

Daily, 8AM – 9PM.

Neil Road is a place we have loved building, and a neighbourhood that has given us so much. Closing this chapter is not a decision we made lightly, but we made it with intention, and with gratitude for everything this place has meant to us.

Our last day of service at Neil Road will be 3 May.

If Neil Road has been part of your week, your morning coffee, your slow Sunday, a table you come back to, we’d love to see you one more time.

After 3 May, we’ll continue to welcome you at CHIJMES, we’ll be there, as always.

Unwind with cheese and charcuterie has come to a close.

To everyone who came in, slowed down, and gave this one a go, thank you.

Unwind was one of the most personal things we’ve built here. Watching people build their own boards, take their time, make an evening out of it, that was exactly what we hoped for.

We’re making space to unwind our next idea, and we’re excited about where it’s going.
