Smiths Fish and Chips has already become a favorite with ex-pats, tourists and locals alike with our crisp and light fish and chips. Our extensive menu offers the usual British fare such as homemade pies, chicken & chips, fish cakes, battered sausages, mushy peas, curry sauce, pickled eggs, chip butties...just to name a few! The first Smiths Fish & Chips shop opened on Tanjong Katong Road in late 2010 and we are still going strong at:

After 15+ incredible years, today marks the end of an unforgettable chapter at Smith’s. 📍

We’ve served thousands of fish & chips, shared countless laughs, made lifelong friendships, and created memories that will stay with us forever. While it’s sad to close the door one last time, we’re leaving with nothing but gratitude for the amazing support, love, and loyalty you’ve shown us throughout the years.

This isn’t goodbye — it’s simply the end of one journey and hopefully the beginning of another. We can’t wait to see where the next chapter takes us. 👀

Yesterday, 17th May, was our final day at Smith’s 🇸🇬💙

This morning felt strange… no fish to cut, no chips to prep, no rush behind the counter — just packing everything away after nearly 18 incredible years.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you 🙏
To every customer who supported us over the years, queued up these last few weeks, shared memories, brought friends & family, and showed us so much love… we truly appreciate it.

It’s been massively busy tonight, queues right down the lane, but what’s made us proud is the positivity from everyone. Patience, kindness, and a team that’s worked their hearts out all day long.

In challenging times, it’s about sticking together, moving forward, and looking after one another — and that’s exactly what this community has done for us. 🇸🇬
