Today is the day of independence from daily wound dressing. The flap of flesh looks properly fused back onto the finger.
I celebrate it by facing another sharp edge head on.
There is no need for fear.

Sliced Petite Tender Hong Kong noodles.

Collected some nice beef in the afternoon.
Assemble it with whatever’s available in the pantry.

- A quick rehydration of HK egg noodles, then stirfried with some black soy.
- A quick stirfry beef with black bean sauce, removed, add chicken stock and thicken with a cornstarch slurry.
- 2 well beaten eggs for egg drop.
