Winemakers’ Dinner with Champagne Henriot

On Friday, May 29 at 7 PM, eighteen guests will gather in the Steinwall Room at Operakällaren. One table only. One room, one shared experience.

Created together with Champagne Henriot and Chef de Caves Alice Tétienne, the evening celebrates the return of the house’s prestigious cuvée, Cuvée des Enchanteleurs. Originally named Enchanteleurs before becoming Hemera, Henriot now returns to the cuvée’s original name with the 2015 vintage.

This dinner will be among the very first dedicated to its relaunch.

For Operakällaren, the evening also carries another meaning. As this marks the final year before the house closes for its extensive renovation, it becomes a rare opportunity to experience a dinner of this kind within these historic walls.

Every course and every glass unfolds as part of a collective journey around the table.

4,500 SEK per guest, including menu and wine pairing featuring both older and younger vintages served side by side.

"I'm really looking forward to this summer, especially after the success of last year. To now have Operakällaren open while Sweden is in full bloom, at its absolute best, feels both exciting and natural. The season brings extraordinary produce, and we want to be part of that moment. The menu will highlight ingredients such as Swedish beef tenderloin, strawberries, and green asparagus. Sweden is at its most beautiful right now, with an abundance of remarkable ingredients – and as the final summer of Operakällaren approaches, it makes the moment all the more special."

Emanuel Tärnqvist, Executive Chef.

In our series The Stories Within, we meet Executive Chef Emanuel Tärnqvist. He shares how he first found his way into the restaurant world, guided early on by his “restaurant father,” Roger, and the role that relationship played in those first formative years.

He speaks about how he approaches building a team today. What he looks for beyond technical skill, how the right energy shapes the kitchen, and why the dynamic between people matters as much as the craft itself.

Emanuel also reflects on what still lies ahead. The ambitions yet to be fulfilled, the ideas still taking form, and the drive to keep moving forward.

On Mondays, the dining room is without guests. We set the tables. Prepare in the kitchen. Welcome fresh flowers into the room. Some take a day to pause, others continue the work behind the scenes. Tomorrow, Tuesday, everything shifts. The room fills, the pace returns, and service moves with full energy once again.

Reservations are now open through June 13.

Nobiskällaren Selections.

From the depths of Nobiskällaren, bottles and stories await. In this format, our Head Sommelier Rasmus Klintberg invites you into one of Sweden’s most remarkable wine cellars. Here, he presents selected wines from the collection, offering a closer look at their origin, character, and the moments they are destined for.

E. Guigal La-La-La 2003

Three vineyards. Three expressions. One monument in the world of wine.

E. Guigal’s iconic La Landonne, La Mouline and La Turque from Côte-Rôtie are among the most sought-after wines of the Rhône Valley and stand as some of the world’s most revered bottlings. Each originates from its own historic vineyard, defined by distinct soils and exposure, and is crafted with remarkable precision and consistency.

The 2003 vintage holds a singular place in their history. An exceptionally warm year that brought both concentration and power, yet in Guigal’s hands retained balance and structure. It remains one of the rare vintages in which all three wines were awarded 100 points by Robert Parker, further affirming their status. These are not simply great wines. They are benchmarks.
