A fun bilingual children’s cooking workshop is coming to Albufeira | Olhos de Água!

📅 Dates: July 12, 19 & 26 (our special Book Launch Workshop!)
🕚 Time: 11:00 am – 12:30 pm
👧🧒 Ages: 5–10 years
⏳ Duration: 1.5 hours

Our goal is to inspire, encourage and nurture children’s creativity through the joy of cooking.

Together with Chef Imi and Caturra, our clown assistant chef, children will prepare 3–4 delicious recipes while learning about:
🥕 Where ingredients come from
👩‍🍳 Kitchen equipment and safety
👅 Tastes, flavours and textures
⏱️ Cooking techniques and timing
👃 Smells and sensory exploration
🧼 Kitchen hygiene and teamwork
💡 Creating their own recipes using their imagination

Every workshop is hands-on, educational, playful and full of creativity!

This September, we’ll gather on the beautiful Ionian island of Zakynthos, surrounded by turquoise waters, ancient olive trees, and the peaceful rhythm of Greek island life.

Our home for the retreat is Villa Meraki, a place designed for rest, connection, and simple beauty. With elegant en-suite bedrooms, peaceful outdoor spaces, and breathtaking views, it offers the perfect setting to slow down, nourish your body, and reconnect with yourself and others.

We’ll cook together using vibrant, plant-based ingredients, share beautiful meals around the table, explore the island, and embrace a slower, more intentional way of living.
