Just a gloomy, on and off rainy day here today causing havoc on the ol' Silkie hairdos. I went out to the coop earlier and asked them what was up with their hair and this was the look I got 🫣😬. "Excuse me ma'am! So sorry." Man oh man, if looks could kill. 😝

Miss Saffron says listen carefully....she has learned a new language....she can now not only speak chicken, but she now can clearly speak duck and is slowly learning goose.

Penelope has been the best momma to these two babies. She is teaching them all the ins and outs of "being outside" with all the big birds. They are doing great so far!!
