Honey Garlic Grilled Chicken Recipe
Ingredients:
• 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
• 1/2 cup honey
• 1/4 cup soy sauce
• 4 cloves garlic, minced
• 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
• 1 tablespoon olive oil
• 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)
• Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Marinade:
• In a bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, apple cider vinegar, olive oil, black pepper, salt, and smoked paprika until well combined.
2. Marinate the Chicken:
• Place the chicken breasts in a large resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring it’s well coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight for maximum flavor.
3. Preheat the Grill:
• Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 375°F to 450°F).
4. Grill the Chicken:
• Remove the chicken from the marinade (discard the marinade) and place it on the grill. Cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F and has nice grill marks.
5. Rest and Serve:
• Once cooked, remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes. This allows the juices to redistribute.
• Slice the chicken and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
