☘️ HOW TO PREPARE KAPENG BARAKO

☘️Traditional Method (province style)

❗️❗️❗️ D I R E C T I O N ❗️❗️❗️

☘️ If you want to prepare 4 cups of kapeng barako, pour 4.5 cups of water in a pot. The extra half
cup of water is your allowance for water evaporation during boiling. Adjust the amount of water
depending on the coffee yield you want.

☘️ Put 2 tablespoons of kapeng barako into the water (you can add more if you wish to have
stronger coffee). And allow the water to boil.

☘️ When the water starts boiling, reduce heat, add brown sugar as desired and allow to boil for 2 to
3 minutes.

☘️ Set aside the coffee for around 5 minutes to allow the coffee grounds to settle at the bottom of
the pot.

☘️ Kapeng barako is traditionally served black or with evaporated milk. But you can add your
favorite cream or milk before serving.
