This hit me. We’ve all had those “Mac Ortiz moments” unsure, unprepared, but still choosing to show up. Grabe, salute to this kind of courage. Real courage doesn’t need perfection, just heart. ❤️🙏🏼

At some point in life, we’ve all been a little like Mac Ortiz.

Mac Ortiz — a cameraman from News5 — is earning praise online for his fearless live coverage in Albay during Super Typhoon Uwan. No formal media training, no smooth delivery, no “broadcaster” voice — just raw presence, determination, and grit.

And honestly, we can all relate.

No enough experience, not fully confident, unsure if we’re even doing things right — yet we choose to step up anyway. We face the storms, take the blows, rise to the challenge, and show up.

Because sometimes, it isn’t about being perfect. It’s not even about being completely ready. It’s about showing up — even when you’re nervous, unscripted, and uncertain, as long as your heart is in it. 🫀
