Tried Andy’s Batangas Lomi and ordered their lomi, tapsilog, and fried tokwa.

The lomi had that signature thick, hearty broth—rich, comforting, and generously loaded. Noodles were soft and well-coated, making each bite satisfying.

The tapsilog was a solid choice. The beef was flavorful with a nice balance of savory and slightly sweet notes, paired well with rice and egg.

The fried tokwa was simple but well-executed—crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and a good side to complement the heavier dishes.

Overall, a filling and comforting meal, especially if you’re craving something warm and hearty.

No longer gatekeeping this Baguio pasalubong find.

Tried these “Dubai cookies” and sampled the different flavors. The texture is soft and slightly dense, with a light coating that adds a touch of indulgence without being overwhelming.

Flavor-wise, it was a bit inconsistent. The
Hazelnut was my top pick. Rich, nutty, and well-balanced. This one stood out.

The Pistachio was visually appealing, but the flavor did not come through. The pistachio taste was barely noticeable.

Overall, it’s a good pasalubong option and worth trying, but if you’re choosing, go for the hazelnut.

Hidden gem for pie lovers in Angeles! I ordered from Fred's Pies & Bakery and it’s definitely a great spot if you’re craving classic savory pies and pastries.

The bakery is known for its Australian-style pies like meat pies, sausage rolls, and Cornish pasties, usually freshly baked and available for takeaway.

Everything arrived hot and freshly baked, with flaky crusts and hearty fillings. The chunky beef pie was the standout—rich, savory, and packed with tender beef.

The sausage rolls were also really good, buttery and satisfying. The Cornish pasty had that classic comforting meat-and-potato filling that makes it feel like a full meal.

What I like about this place is that it’s simple, no-frills, and focused on good pies. It’s the kind of spot you go to when you want something warm, filling, and comforting without spending too much.

Great value, hearty fillings, and perfect if you love savory pies.

We dined at Angry Crab and ordered the Phil Co Set, which is good for about four people. We were six and we still had some left overs.

The set came loaded with chili crab, fried crab, gambas, buttered scallops, bulgogi, seafood fried rice, salad, and mixed fruits—a generous spread that’s perfect for sharing.

The chili crab was the highlight for me—rich, flavorful, and perfect with rice. The fried crab had a satisfying crunch, while the buttered scallops and gambas delivered that garlicky, buttery goodness seafood lovers will enjoy.

Sad that they cant customized it to cook without the garlic but oh well. The seafood fried rice tied everything together and soaked up all the sauces.

We also ordered additional parboiled shrimp, which turned out to be a great add-on—fresh, naturally sweet, and a nice lighter contrast to the richer dishes.

Expect a messy but fun seafood experience—the kind where you crack shells, use your hands, and just enjoy the feast with friends.

This assorted mooncake box from Polland is a nice little treat if you want to sample different classic flavors in one set. Each mini mooncake is individually packed and comes in varieties like ube, yellow mongo, black mongo, lotus seed, and mixed nuts.

The pastries have that familiar soft, slightly flaky crust with dense, sweet fillings inside. The lotus seed and mixed nuts stand out for their richer flavor, while the mongo and ube are more on the comforting, traditional side. Since they’re mini-sized, they’re easy to share (or finish in one sitting 😅).

Overall, a simple, nostalgic mooncake set that’s perfect for gifting, merienda, or enjoying with tea.

Scored a Guylian Belgian Seashells box at Royal Duty Free for 50% off — bargain that tastes like a tiny celebration.

The chocolates are silky, praline-filled, and each shell has that pretty marbled finish that makes you feel fancy for two bites. Not shockingly complex, but perfectly balanced: creamy hazelnut praline with smooth Belgian chocolate that melts cleanly on the tongue.

Great for sharing (or hiding in a secret drawer). If you find this on sale — grab it.

Okay… this one deserves the hype.

Finally got my hands on the Peach Ice Cream — spotted it at Royal Duty Free Subic — and yes, it was absolutely worth the checkout line curiosity.

First impression: the packaging is soft, pastel, very delicate-core. But the real win is inside.

The peach flavor is fragrant and natural — not candy-sweet, not artificial. You actually get that juicy, slightly floral peach note.

Then the oolong tea comes through subtly at the back, adding depth and keeping everything from being overly sweet.

Texture-wise? Smooth, creamy, and clean on the palate. It doesn’t feel heavy, which makes it dangerously easy to finish more than intended. 😌

It’s one of those desserts that feels a little elevated — not your usual chocolate-vanilla situation. If you like fruit-forward flavors with a tea twist, this is your sign.

No longer gate-keeping this: ZRV Breakfast & Coffee is officially our go-to for unli bacon in Clark — and yes, the hype is real (crispy, well-seasoned, and happily refillable).

My sister tried their tapa plate too — pleasantly seasoned, nicely caramelized, and exactly the kind of tapa she likes. The whole meal felt sulit: big portions, friendly staff, and brunch staples done without fuss.

Casual neighborhood cafe energy — relaxed, easy, and totally honest about what they do best. If you’re in Clark and craving a no-drama, full-on bacon breakfast (or a solid tapa plate), stop second-guessing and go.
