swipe for a little story behind two of our drinks. 🍵

you probably know us for our playful, flavored matcha drinks—banana pudding, cereal milk and all the fun combinations we’ve brought to our pop-ups.

but we’ve also been quietly serving SEI 瀬 & ROKU 六, two drinks created for those who want to experience matcha a little more simply.

SEI was inspired by a 140-year-old tea shop we visited in kagoshima, while ROKU was inspired by a famous matcha shop in kyoto. we took those experiences with us and created our own versions to share at our pop-ups.

and one of the sweetest things has been seeing our Japanese guests enjoy them. 🥹

we’ve always loved making matcha fun, but we also want to remind people that matcha can be beautiful on its own.

if you haven’t tried SEI or ROKU yet, we hope you give them a cup next time you see us. 🙇🏻‍♀️

hey friends! we’re popping up in makati again! 🍵

we officially got our work visa in makati (iykyk 😭) so of course we had to come back!
we’re also bringing our new seasonal drink—yuzu oolong matcha 🍋 (with an automatic roishi upgrade 👀) along with our usual menu faves.

we might also bring a limited number of roishi tins with us, so keep an eye out!

still processing the fact that we were actually part of the manila matcha fest 😭 like… HOW DID WE GET HERE???

from starting as a tiny home café with just a few cups of matcha to suddenly serving alongside brands we’ve looked up to for so long… it’s honestly so surreal. 🥹

every long day, every late night, every chaotic pop-up, every cup we’ve whisked along the way somehow led us here. and seeing you guys line up, come back for another cup, bring your friends and show so much love to our little matcha pop-up??? 😭

we genuinely wouldn’t be here without you. thank you for growing with us, believing in us and letting us be part of your matcha era.

and a special special thank you to SM Mall Of Asia Manila Matcha Fest and matchanese 🙇🏻‍♀️ you made all of this possible and we’re so grateful to have been part of something this special. (ty matchanese team sa pagluto ng dango with us! best neighbors!)
