๐‹๐Ž๐Ž๐Š | Sophomores of the International Hospitality Management Department marked the 1st Anniversary of CentroLuxe today, February 10, at 11th Floor Fine Dining Bar in LV Campusโ€”where the IHM departmentโ€™s training restaurant was established in 2025.

The celebration highlighted the studentsโ€™ hands-on learning, creativity, and commitment to service excellenceโ€”reflecting CentroLuxeโ€™s role as a venue for real-world hospitality experience.

The operations were led by, Food and Beverages Manager Armado, Love Joy and Head Chef Aspa, Marius Jesh, whose guidance and expertise contributed to the success of the event.

When asked, what is the sole purpose of the activity, Aspa said, โ€œTo learn how to operate a restaurant and how to manage it. It also helps the students to be more knowledgeable in the hospitality industry,โ€ highlighting the essence of the celebration.

โ€œThe goal is to simulate real-life restaurant culture so that we are ready once we enter the world of hospitality,โ€ shared the two.

CentroLuxe by IHM is a small yet refined student-operated cafรฉ established in 2025, serving as a dynamic learning hub for International Hospitality Management (IHM) students of Centro Escolar University โ€“ Makati. Operated and managed by the Catering Management class, CentroLuxe blends academic training with real-world food service operations.

The cafรฉ provides students with hands-on experience in food preparation, service excellence, menu planning, cost control, customer relations, and cafรฉ management, allowing them to apply theoretical knowledge in a professional setting. CentroLuxe by IHM showcases creativity, teamwork, and industry standards while delivering quality food and beverages to the CEU community.

Designed as both a learning laboratory and a service establishment, CentroLuxe reflects the universityโ€™s commitment to experiential learning, innovation, and hospitality excellence, preparing students for future careers in the food, beverage, and hospitality industries.
