Some photo ops are more than just a picture.

Taken during the GoNegosyo Balikbayan Entrepreneur Awards, This one is special because I had the rare opportunity to stand beside Chef Laudico—one of the personalities I’ve long looked up to in the Philippine culinary scene.

As a chef and restaurant owner, I know that the journey is not simply about creating good food. It’s about craft, discipline, courage, creativity, and having the heart to keep pushing Filipino cuisine forward.

Moments like this remind me why I continue to learn.

Why I continue to cook.

Why I continue to build.

And why I continue to believe that our Filipino culinary story has so much more to share with the world.

From being an admirer from afar to finally having a photo together—a little surreal, a lot of gratitude. ❤️

Every memorable dish starts long before it reaches the kitchen.
For us, it begins at the break of dawn in the vibrant community market of Bangued, Abra.

To serve you the most authentic Cordilleran feast in the Metro, we go straight to the source.

Take a look at this beautiful, fresh harvest: pitil, cardis, patani, siling duwag, alucon, native talong, ampalaya, pallang (native sigarilyas), and native sitaw.

If you look closely, you'll notice these native vegetables are distinctly smaller than what you usually find in city supermarkets.

Because Abra enjoys a warmer climate compared to the rest of the Cordillera Administrative Region, these crops naturally grow smaller, but they are fiercely packed with a concentrated, robust flavor that you simply cannot find anywhere else.
