Yesterday, we ran ourr full-scale mock service at Rēset café, full production with POS, live orders at the register, bar, kitchen, and table service
A huge THANK YOUUU to everyone who came by and helped us make the experience as close to the real thing as possible. We also want to thank our amazing team, Jen & Mico for the hard work, teamwork, & for making it all happen!
And a BIG good job to my wife, Sue, for handling the kitchen all by herself yesterday! You deserve that big clap when you finally came out to the dining area and greeted our friends. You did amazing!
Of course, we had a minor hiccup, our new freezer hasn’t arrived yet, so we literally ran out of ice in the middle of taking orders 😂 Ice delivery was out too, so had to go out & get some myself. Part of the dry run, I guess! 😅
We also learned a lot, especially on improving our wait times and we’re grateful for all the positive feedback on our drinks and sandwiches . It really means a lot to us.
