It was truly an honor and a privilege to welcome such an inspiring group of creative minds and cultural champions: Kublai Millan, Davao's renowned artist; Datu Waway of the Talaandig Tribe, a respected cultural leader and keeper of Indigenous traditions; acclaimed writer Karlo Galay David; and filmmaker ArAr Nwede.

Detour Alert!

Kubs Kafe + Cabins is OPEN.

The usual road may be closed due to the recent landslide, but alternate routes are available. The road changed, but the destination is still worth every kilometer. Follow the alternate route and spend a few extra minutes on the road = fresh coffee, great food, and mountain views are waiting for you here with us at Kubs Kafe + Cabins ☕🌿

Advisory from DPWH:

The DAVAO-BUKIDNON ROAD along Sitio Marahan in Brgy. Marilog Proper, Davao City is CLOSED to motorists due to a road slip.

Motorists are advised to take the following alternate routes:

* Maramag–Carmen–Kabacan–Digos–Davao Road (passable to all type of vehicles)
* Davao–Bukidnon Road – Campo Uno section (passable to light vehicles)

The DPWH will provide regular updates regarding this road closure.
