From Cebu to the ASEAN stage!
Dose Cebu is proud to announce that our owner, Francis Elegino, will be representing the Philippines at the ASEAN Coffee Brewers League this November 2026 in Iloilo, Philippines.
This opportunity comes after an unforgettable victory at the Philippine Coffee Brewers League – Dumaguete Leg (July 24–26, 2026), where our team emerged as the Team Battle Champions, defeating 11 of the country's strongest teams.
Francis proudly competed alongside two exceptional brewers:
☕ Kert-Jan Tabana – Owner of Tonic Hilongos, Risk Coffee, and Calibrate, known for his passion and dedication to elevating the Philippine coffee scene.
☕ Earl Brent Ymbong – Champion of the CDO Coffee Quest Brewers Cup 2024, who remains undefeated in coffee brewing competitions to this day.
And while our team celebrated the Team Battle championship, another proud Cebuano made history.
🏆 Ado Carlo Idusora, owner of Brew Szn and Breeze & Beans Coffeehouse, claimed the Individual Battle Championship, defeating 23 of the country's top brewers to take home the title.
Together, these victories marked a landslide win for Cebu, proving that the Queen City of the South continues to produce some of the country's finest coffee professionals. Cebu didn't just compete—we showed the nation the passion, skill, and heart that define our coffee community.
This achievement is more than a trophy—it's a testament to the hard work, countless hours of practice, and the unwavering support of everyone who has believed in our journey.
Now, it's time to wear the Philippine colors once again as we take on the best brewers across Southeast Asia.
