From humble beginning to the top of the world ( Hopefully someday in God’s graces) are the words that succinctly sum up Victoria Grill and Restaurant. Quality food and family values are paramount to Victoria Grill and Restaurant, the reason it somehow establishes its name to the Abreños. Serving mainly Filipino dishes with a slew of international cuisines, VGR was the brainchild of Paulita Ester B
andayrel Echave. Back then it has always been her dream to open up a restaurant. A dream that was realized and continues to reach victory. The first Victoria Grill and Restaurant started its operation last November 30, 2019, its name was an inspiration by the statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Casamata Hill National Park where it was first located. It was a good start for VGR but due to unexpected circumstances, one of which is the spread of the COVID-19, VGR in Casamata Hill ended its operation. But it never yielded and rendered its dreams. August 8, 2020 marks another milestone, another chance to bring the family together at one table. Along its way to the paradigm of what VGR aimed, tribulations never seem to give way, it slowly destroyed its pillars and anchors. Those were the darkest days it had to surpass and stop again its operation. VGR make-believe that striving and struggle precede success. This certainly inspires VGR not to give up and continue serving the people of Abra.
