Share The Stoke Foundation, teamed up with Firewiresurfboards and SOLID Surf & Adventure, have brought christmas in July (well - June) to the local surfers in El Transito! These kids are not only awesome and friendly in the water but are in school, helping the community and are becoming great mentors to enable this friendly stoke to continue in town. Because of this mentality, we wanted to reward them with brand new Firewire surfboards! The smiles were endless not only for the kids who received the boards but also for the kids who learned how to surf for the first time today from these local surfers. Who knows... maybe next year these new surfers will be standing here recieving a board of their own... to be continued!
