Introducing (slightly late we're sorry!) the seventh installment of Beer Friends! This month we welcomed Jason from Aliment Brewing down in Riwaka to brew our seventh release: Hoppy Porter!!!

Pouring a beautiful deep mahogany colour, our Hoppy Porter is the perfect balance of hop forward texture & malt driven body. A layered malt base of Ale, Crystal Munich & Chocolate is paired with a hop trio of Simcoe, Chinook & Centennial for wonderful aromas & flavours of citrus zest, pine & cocoa.

Pouring at BEERVANA this Friday and Saturday!!! And keep an eye on our socials for a ticket giveaway coming soon...

This four-part series explores ingredients chosen to capture the flavours & textures of Autumn, Winter, Spring & Summer.

Our Winter release is a Belgian Stout brewed w/ chocolate, cherry & rye. Expect layers of dark chocolate & cocoa, subtle cherry aromatics, a dry finish & a gentle rye character that brings bready depth & nutty biscuit notes.

Autumn’s Rhubarb Farmhouse Ale will also be pouring, giving you the chance to taste the difference two months can make!.
