🍔 OKAY FLIPPIN FAM — WE NEED YOUR THOUGHTS! 🍔
We’ve been tossing and turning, trying to decide whether it’s worth putting Flippin Burger on Uber Eats! 👀
This could mean getting Flippin Burger delivered around Te Kauwhata, Huntly and everywhere in between plus Hamilton whenever we’re parked at Te Rapa Kmart. And yes, we’re planning to hit Hamilton every second Wednesday!
The only catch is that our Uber Eats prices would need to be higher to cover their fees. Our regular menu prices are also due for a small increase. We’ve held off for as long as possible, but with other trucks charging more for a 240g double smash burger than we charge for our massive 320g double burgers, we simply can’t keep absorbing the rising costs.
We even considered changing our name to The Flippin Food Truck.Especially when the trailer decides to be stubborn and keeps me on my toes… or, more accurately, burning my toes. 😂
But I love Flippin Burger, and after spending two years building this brand and our Flippin Fam, I don’t want to start all over again!
If we go ahead with Uber Eats, we could eventually have someone running the trailer from base during the day while I’m at mahi, sending out your Flippin favourites for lunch. Then we’d head to the Te Kauwhata Skatepark or Te Rapa Kmart for dinner deliveries!
