Some dishes simply can’t be rushed. ❤️

Our Dal Makhni is slow-cooked for almost 24 hours, resting overnight on top of the tandoor to develop its rich, creamy flavour. We then finish it with butter, fresh garlic, fresh ginger, and aromatic dried fenugreek for that authentic North Indian taste.

One of India’s most loved comfort foods, made the traditional way—because great flavour is always worth the wait.

🌿 Ingredient Spotlight: Green Cardamom

Did you know? Green cardamom is often called the “Queen of Spices” because of its unique sweet, floral aroma and delicate citrus notes. Although only a small amount is needed, it adds incredible depth and fragrance to many Indian dishes.

At Spice Village, we use green cardamom to create the authentic flavours you know and love. You’ll find it in favourites such as our Malai Chicken, where it complements the rich, creamy chicken, and our Zafrani Chicken Masala, where it pairs beautifully with saffron to create a wonderfully aromatic curry.

It’s the little details—and quality spices—that make all the difference.
